[Business Graduate, Interim Manager, Mentor]
Interim Management since 2009
I have been living in Switzerland since 2007. The town of my birth is Hamburg; the Hanseatic city of merchants, bankers, traders, shipowners and – above all – of sober pragmatism and liberalism.
After studying economics in Kiel and Vaesteras and gaining over 25 years of international management, programme and project management experience for medium-sized companies and international corporations in the information technology, finance and services sectors, I founded «ad temporis | Interim Management» in Zurich.
I wanted to pass on the experience and knowledge gained from numerous international, multi-cultural and challenging large-scale projects to my future clients thus solving their challenges quickly, effectively and sustainably.
The four fundamental aspects of every project – consideration of firmly calculated costs, defined realisation time, clear target achievement and predetermined quality criteria – have influenced the logo of my company: the square.
Consultation, design and implementation of my client’s projects with the aim of optimising, reorganising or restructuring their local/global supply chains, logistics, transport and purchasing is my main focus. I also take on mandates for the management of corporate transactions such as post-merger integrations (PMI) or carve-outs, as well as the realisation of digital transformation projects.
Moreover, I am a trainer and advisor for contract negotiations and strategies – here, it is about the «Art of Negotiation» – and also take over contractual negotiation for my clients in critical situations; be it procurement- or sales-related.
Following personal inquiries of my clients, I took over mentorship for selected executives or young talented employees to boost further individual and professional development.
My memberships in Dachgesellschaft Deutscher Interim Manager (DDIM), in Dachverband Schweizer Interim Manager (DSIM), in Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft und Einkauf (BME) as well as Swiss German Business Club (SGBC), Zurich, ensure professional exchange, knowledge, information and the necessary communication between Interim Managers and free economy.
